I can relate to the frustration right now! I just want to be back to normal but have to realize my limitations.

I so often have lofty ideas of what I'd like to accomplish and then get frustrated because I can't fit it all in or get too tired. Balance is a hard thing to learn!

I hope you made some good money with your yard sale. So glad your mom was able to help!carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023768553441271216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1513728972273935488.post-14495358304109746332009-10-20T10:04:10.230-04:002009-10-20T10:04:10.230-04:00I COMPLETELY understand what you are saying. I...I COMPLETELY understand what you are saying. I've had weeks like that for sure!!! But I've found that the best weeks are the ones with fewer planned activities and more time to relax, love on my family (instead of growling at them because I'm stressed), and listen to God's voice. I find it very hard to hear his calling when I'm too busy. I'm not there yet, but it is my goal.

A great quote I read in a book says
"Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least" -Goethe
I have to constantly remind myself of what matters most (my family, my sanity, homeschooling, character training) before I say "yes" to an activity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1513728972273935488.post-47819009312412699272009-10-20T07:54:59.503-04:002009-10-20T07:54:59.503-04:00If you figure out a way to control the "creat...If you figure out a way to control the "create my own chaos" syndrome, let me in on it. I managed to schedule us this fall so that we leave the house for some event/class/practice/game EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.K-Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11117653505364031423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1513728972273935488.post-12236214831643083982009-10-20T02:56:31.310-04:002009-10-20T02:56:31.310-04:00So often I think of you as being the perfect organ...So often I think of you as being the perfect organizer. Everything I am not. But in this post you reveal you are a little more like me than I thought! Here is my achilles heel! I try to do too much. At least, the nice part is that it is because I LOVE life, and I ENJOY everything! I really do. And that is a good trait, surely. Yes! So long as we are not greedy. Because being greedy does take the joy out of it a bit.

All your projects sound wonderful. I'm sorry the surgery was so awful. I'm glad the yard sale worked out...but yard sales are work. No question there! Good luck with the lap book, the presentation and the history fair!Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12623179886908222942noreply@blogger.com
