and your post the other day, being honest....that is the authenticity that allows God to rush in... isn't it?
I had to walk away from my home this past year, (single mom, three kids) and I struggled so with it...cried...felt guilty, failure, bad..just bad. The house my little daughter joined us in and the house my two boys and I survived their dad leaving in....
so hard....
and even now, it is still unsettled...(slow slow slow mortgage companies) and hanging over my heart and still undone....
But I know God has plans, even with messes, even with what I feel is failure on my part...and loves no less.
He gives the strength to do what we need for our children.
I can't believe how small you all look. I love it! So sorry you have had a rough time. I know it's just a season. I remember you years ago and how you seemed to persevere no matter what. I bet you are doing that now. I'm so thankful for the Lord and how His word can bring peace and comfort. I know that is happening for you.
Actually, there is a giant rocking chair at Country's BBQ in Columbus, GA (suddently I feel hungry), and I have a pic of Earthgirl in a giant rocker at Sandestin, FL. --But no mountains.
Of course you are going to love it there. I'm thrilled to see the girls out and about.
