There is something about going to a ball game that makes it feel like summer. Not long ago we found ourselves at a ball game one summer evening and it was the end of a perfectly busy day. It was so much fun and I was a little surprised how much the girls liked it. I am going to tuck these images away in my memory.

"...buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks, I don't care if I even get back..." Great fun and excuse for good ole baseball junk food!
FUN!!
Fun! We love going to ball games, but seldom do. EG got a baseball at a Spring training game once - "caught" would be too strong a word - an equipment manager just tossed a few extras up after one homerun landed in our area - he made sure all the young children got one.
I love the sounds!
We are a baseball family ~ so much fun and the crowds are usually very tame and kid friendly as opposed to football. We took the kids to a preseason football game (our first as a family) and I was SHOCKED at how crazy the fans were. Never again. Baseball is more my/kids style.
looks like a lot of fun and a lot of memories!
We had fun at a baseball game, too. The best part was when it started raining. We laughed so much.
That was a great day. =) It sure is fun to have a minor league team close to home.
One of the best memories that I share with my sister is Texas Ranger baseball. A company she worked for many years ago had corporate tickets. My sister would get to use them occasionally so we would go. We sat right behind first base and had the best time.
We're hoping to take the kids when the season starts around here next spring. It's a college league, and they are pretty good from what I hear.
I love the pics of a dad holding a childs hand, they are the BEST! sometimes the simplest thing can bring the most pleasure. Blessings to your beautiful family.
That looks like so much fun. We have never gone to a baseball game as a family but I sure went to plenty of them as a kid. I can remember lots of Atlanta Braves games!!
Are the sundae's in the little plastic helmets? Too cute. I am so glad you had a fun family outing. We, of course, LOVE baseball games and YES it DOES feel very American.
So glad you had so much fun.
Wow! Tally looks so tall!
