somewhere...someone...

... is celebrating a birthday.
... is losing their job.
... is going to Disney for the first time.
... is moving across the country.
... is having a baby.
... is hearing terrible news from their doctor.
... is reuniting with a loved one.
... is getting a contract on a house.
... is catching a flight.
... is getting their referral.
... is being denied.
... is beginning homeschooling.
... is registering their child for kindergarten.
... is spending their last few dollars on groceries.
... is getting a new job.
... is finishing a book.
... is beginning a new life in Christ.
... is learning to read.
... is closing on a house.
... is getting a new car.
... is getting married today.
... is bringing home a new pet.
... is getting deployed today.
... is coming home.
... is preparing to graduate.
... is losing a loved one.
... is getting in a car accident.

When you think about it. Somewhere...a life is being changed...either good or bad. When you think about it, we have no idea what that person next to us in line at the grocery store is going through. It is good reminder to give grace to others. We don't always know what the day will hold for us. Some things that we plan and prepare for...and other things that we don't. Around our home these were the early morning conversations. Somewhere...someone...is...

That is the most beautiful post I've ever read... It certainly echoes what I've thought so many times... I try very hard, for just those reasons, not to respond in kind to people whose tempers are bad, or who are rude, sharp or cross. And you know what? SO often, when I respond kindly to unkindness, the other person will be moved to either share with me why they acted the way they did, or they apologize. Kindness does turn away wrath. And "to understand everything is to forgive everything". I wish I knew who said that, as it is my motto.

This is a lovely reminder! Above all, it should remind us that we are Christ to others, that when someone we encounter during our day sees us, we either have the opportunity to let them experience the love of Christ or to let them see our irritable, tired selves. It's a wonderful eye-opener to see others with the eyes of Jesus.

Forgive me, Lord, for my busyness and for not stopping to consider what YOU are doing in someone's life each day. Bless those who are struggling. May they be encouraged just knowing you are the all powerful, all knowing God.

So Glad GOD is in CONTROL...He is the blessed controler of all things...all things touching my life and the person next to me.

We are often so focused on our own little lives and concerns...praying to be more "others" centered, looking how to bless and help them!

God is so cool! To know that all of those people are going through all of those things and the same God that has held my life together through the good and bad is holding the life together for every person on earth through their good & bad. Thanks for the post!
