This caught my eye

On our little road trip a week ago, I came across this in a bubble gum machine in a bathroom. I have never seen anything like this. I didn't have quarters so I couldn't purchase one and give it a go. But I thought it seemed interesting.

I do love fresh clean teeth and can't stand any fuzz on them ( I call them sweater teeth). I even keep a toothbrush in the glove box in my car (along with other odd sundries). In fact I am a pretty prepared mother. Extra clothes in the trunk, sicky bag in the back seat and deodorant, toothbrush and Tylenol in the glove box. If you need it, I most likely have it. Fire ant bite, no problem I have benadryl. Spur of the moment picnic, I have a blanket. Mosquitoes, I have bug spray. Too sunny, I have sun screen. It is kind of like a pharmacy on wheels.
I should have run to the car for quarters to try the chewable toothbrush, I am sure I have some in there somewhere with all my things. =)

I am totally the opposite of being prepared. So I need you around me more often! :)

I love it...except for the fact it was in a bathroom...a little weird, don't you think?

Do you know I still use the term "sweater teeth" that I got from you and Chuck MANY years ago at the music festival (you know the one where Chuck and Russ bathed with wet wipes...LOL) GOOD TIMES!!

I am completely the opposite--not about brushing my teeth--I do enjoy clean teeth but I do not carry a toothbrush in my car. I do not carry anything in my car--no band aids, no extra clothes, no hand sanitizing stuff, no blanket, you get my point. I like the idea of it though. Maybe I'll try.

How strange. I wish you would have gotten some so we could see it.

I'm getting ready to make a new "pharmacy kit" for our upcoming new vehicle. Always be prepared! (This is what Dad always says - from his boy scout days!)

I think they could do a better job marketing them than using a vending machine in a restroom! Tacky, tacky! -- Maybe something like, "Brought to you by the mysterious 5th dentist that DIDN'T recommend Dentine to his patients who chew gum!"

It needs a better name too... maybe "Chewthbrush."

(warning: Chewthbrush may cause harmful and uncomfortable side effects such as bleeding of the gums, cracking of the teeth and discoloration of the tongue. Chewthbrush may cause simple chroinic halitosis. Chewthbrush is manufactured in a guy's basement somewhere in South Jersey.)

Chewthbrush! Look ma, I can do it with no hands! ...and with no teeth!!!!

Ha! I am the opposite. No matter what I DO have, I need something else!

Ok now I know that you and wife of a rockstar are IRL friends...good to know. :)
And I am with the first commenter....opposite of you so I sure wish you hung around where I hang around more often so I could bum things off you! :)
That is a bit interesting...never seen anything like that.

Yep, you can never have enough flashlights, huh Papa? I like to be prepared too...but carrying a big purse around is a dud. I love my little plastic collapsable cup (like grandma Hotchkiss used to have) The kids are always asking for drinks of water when we are out. I love having mint-sugar free gum...it's a good back up for tackling fuzzy teeth on the go.

I am the same about my teeth to the extent that I need gum grafting (but it's too expensive). So be careful that you don't brush too hard like me!
And even if I carried that much equipment in my van I wouldn't be able to find it underneath the layers of junk that cover the floor. I am a clean house/messy car sort of person.

The Army has something similar...gum. They say that the gum they provide in the MREs (the meals they give the guys) works as a tooth brush. As a wife of a soldier who lived off of MREs for 6 months one time...I beg to differ. So does his dentist:)
