this place always make me smile

Today I will be driving past this little post office on the way to visit a dear friend. Ever since I first saw it, it has made me smile. I think it is just about the tiniest little post office ever. So small town. So cute. I think if this were my post office, I might enjoy running that errand. It can't be any bigger than 200 s.f.
I love the big old tree outside. Again, it just makes me smile. I have such a thing for cute and quaint...

I have to see if I can find a photo of the post office that my grandma was the post master of in Louisiana... it was even cuter than this one... a tiny red, brick building. They closed it and built a new one around when she retired, but I don't think she got to work in it. You made me miss her today when I saw your post...

This must be in L.D. It goes with that quaint town. Cute spot.

It is a cute P.O. As I have driven past, I've often wondered what it would be like to live there in that tiny wide place in the road. The town is very old-Florida grove town.

It made me smile, too. We used to live in a little town where we had to go to the post office to pick up our mail. It was also a daily task I enjoyed.

I love cute spots like that too. I will have to take pictures of the little grocery where I get my brown eggs and post them soon.
