Finally, enjoying the out doors again

We have lived in our current state for 4 years. And one of my deepest goals in life is to be content in any place that I am in. Not longing for the next thing. Not peeking over the fence to see if the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. For often once when you get on the other side, you realize it isn't grass at all, in fact it is just green weeds. All that to say, I have tried to focus on the positive things of living in a tropical environment. Being close to Disney is number one on the positive list.

We have had to adjust our activities since living here. Tristen does have health issues that limit how much time she can spend outside in the hot sun. She also just doesn't have the energy that an average kid has. (read about it HERE) These concerns plus a hot and humid climate equal lots of inside time in the summer. The past few days it has cooled down here. And by cool, I mean 89 during the day. If you start early enough in the day, the kids can play outside again. They have spent days playing on the play set (some kind of pretend play that includes acting out the Box Car Children books).

They have also been asking to go down to the neighborhood tennis courts to play together. I hate that our life is busy and I had to put this off for a few days. But we were able to hit the courts this morning and have fun (not to mention get a little exercise).

Glad it is a little cooler. I am sure it doesn't feel like fall yet, though. Glad the girls can get out and play tennis. How was your showing?

Hey - I love the outfits and how nice that it is somewhat cool enough to play tennis at your courts. Those Christmas rackets are getting a work out. Do both girls like it? Do you come home and hop into the pool? Praying for your especiallly today! Love you lots.

They look like naturals. What beautiful scenery there. It looks so spread out from house to house.

You are right Kara, there is lots of space between the houses. Everyone here has between 1-5 acres.

Way to go Peters Girls. Rah Rah! It's so nice that you can get outside now. Enjoy! We went and hit golf balls today. Never too early to work toward those college scholarships, eh? I'm anxious to hear of an offer on your home. Praying that it is VERY SOON. BTW... very cool picture, Chuck! Miss you all.
