Our little get away...day one

Here is your official warning...TONS of pictures coming your way. We had a great time at Disney last week. We only did 2 days at the parks (and that is plenty for me) but our time was really special. It has been several years since we flew somewhere to go on vacation. I was able to get some really good deals on tickets ($19 each way) so it was hard to pass this up. So we figured it was our last month of not having to pay a mortgage payment, so it was the perfect time for us to splurge a little. Now is the time for Disney, before spring break traffic and before it gets too hot. It was fantastic weather. It is hard to believe that just a week earlier the girls were playing in the snow. (HERE)

The day we got there, we spent the afternoon enjoying the pool. Tristen had not been feeling well earlier that day, but was feeling just fine now. The girls really enjoyed the sun and the water. We kind of miss having a pool of our own.
We stayed at one of those hotels at Downtown Disney. So we were able to walk over and get dinner in the evenings. After a day of traveling and swimming, we were ready for something to eat. Our pick that night was Earl of Sandwich (pretty good food).

I could just watch my kids play for hours. A sign of a true mom I guess. Coming up next is our days at the parks...like I said...LOTS of pictures.

$19 each way...are you kidding me? I've never heard of something so cheap. Looks like some fun in the sun for the girls.

That pool looks like fun! I'm glad you guys had a great vacation. I wanted to call and come find you guys and visit but I decided not to. I know you guys needed a family vacation and knew it was short. Next time though...

How exciting! How on earth did you find a $19 ticket!?!?

We just went on vacation as well, to Hollywood Florida. When I get the time, I plan to post on that. It was strange swimming and playing on the beach in March! But I'm not complaining!
