This meme originated over an idea that was prompted by the book written by Larry Smith & Rachel Fershleiser, Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six Word Memoirs by Writers Famous & Obscure. It’s a compilation based on the story that Hemingway once bet ten dollars that he could sum up his life in six words. His words were, “For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn.”
1. Write your own six word memoir.
2. Post it to your blog including a visual illustration if you would like.

Look at me, don't notice ME.
Let me explain a little. I desire that when ever anyone see me, they don't see ME, but that they see Christ. I do however want others to look at me. I want people to see how I behave, interact with my family, include others...what ever I do, I want others to be pointed to Christ.

Sometimes it is good not to have a blog - no tags!
A 6-word memoir? And here I was concerned you would be computerless. You were just involved in coming up with a wonderful motto.
Since I'm reading this with a thunderstorm-in-the-area headache, all that comes to me are 3- to 7-word quotes with a negative twist:
"Can't--hold--on--much--longer..."

This is an AMAZING one. I wonder the origin. As I began to ponder my own six words, I found myself remembering some words that have long woven round my mind - author Leo Tolstoy's last words: "All for others; mostly for myself." I've always loved those words because they require you to think about them. They could be taken a few different ways. Here is what I think - He tried to grow in love and in doing so worked to sacrifice himself for others. But, in doing so, paradoxically it was he, himself who benefitted, not the least because he could now face death unafraid of judgment.
OR, a non-Tolstoy lover might think that he was admitting that he had failed in being all for others, and suddenly realized that really he had always been selfish. I sure hope not! What a desperate epiphany that would be.
Ok... I love stuff like this, so I've been thinking about it for a few days. -- I also have trouble picking just ONE favorite (for anything!) -- So here are a few that I jotted down in a spreadsheet to ponder...
- Always tried to exceed people's expectations.
- Failure is simply not an option.
- Imagine if I'd reached my potential!
- Being creative on schedule ain't easy
