The house drama continues

Well, after all those wonderful guesses with the last post. The answer to the question is... we had put the offer on the house with the acreage. And to not keep the suspense, those sellers will not budge off their price. And their asking price is more than we wanted to spend. We just don't have a peace about giving their asking price...so that means we are back to the drawing board. Back to house hunting. Back to seeking God for just the right place. We feel strongly that we will have a peace about the right place.

I love your resolve! You will have peace and a sense of the right house when all the pieces of the puzzle are in place. "God is still on the throne - almighty God is He and He cares for His own throughout eternity." This is from a chorus that I sang in highschool.

Absolutely. Judge everything by the peace that it brings.

Good decision. So smart to be strong and do what is right for your family. And you are right about the peace...

We went through that whenwe bought our house we live in now. We found a house we really liked. We thought we had such a good chance they would take our offer since it was vacant and such. Well they wouldn't budge either..to make a long story shorter.. I believe it happened because we are here where we should be. We love it here and understand now why we went through it... I have faith that you will find the place that you will find happiness and peace in your life..
Wishing you best of luck during this stressful time.

Sorry for your disappointment. We'll likely never know why God makes us wait...but we can trust and know that His way is the Best way for us!

Something bigger on the horizon! I am glad that you are keeping a positive attitude! Enjoy the paper plates while you can :)

I am doing my first lapbook with the boys next week and I am so excited... I really think they are going to love it! We are studying Colonial Times. I will let you know how it turns out!

Funny, I came across your blog when I was just browsing from one blog to another. I have read some of your postings before linked from my two daughters....Permission to Mother and Fitncrafty.

As a Realtor, I can tell you in this market there are some really unreasonable Sellers as there are buyers. A real estate transaction, to make it to closing must be a win-win situation for all parties. Everything happens for a reason and your wonderful new home will be there for you.

Be patient, you will look back at these stressful days and remember when!
