We are just not sure what to do.

We are trying to make a good decision on a house for our family and we are SO desiring to make the right choice. As for the first house we had a contract on...well...we STILL have not heard from the seller's bank that they are approving of the short sale. The only thing we know is that this could take several more months. We prayed that if it wasn't God's will, that He would shut the door. And it seems that the door is shutting.

So that means, we have spent the last week still house hunting. We are really praying for God's wisdom and discernment as we make another choice and move on. Since we are ruling out short sales, it does limit our options. Thanks for praying with us as we search out our options and seek God's direction.

Sorry the blogging has been so LAME around here lately. We are pretty bored ourselves and missing our "stuff" as it is all packed away. I do always love to know that you have stopped by anyway. =)

praying you will find the perfect place!
I'm actually envious that you are in a position to be able to buy so quickly in your new location. It will probably be years before our finances recovery enough to be able to buy here.
God is faithful! He will give you wisdom.

In the movie "Quiet Man" (with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara) she says at one point in the movie, that she needs "her things" about her. I understand completely. I too am wanting "my things" about me. I want my chopper, my wooden spoons, my knives, my photo books, - those things that make me feel warm, secure and comfortable. Forgive me, Lord! I know that the things aren't supposed to be important - but I do like the chosen familiar articles that help make my house a home. I pray you don't have to wait much longer!

"The Limbo" isn't just a dance anymore eh? :( I hope God's plan for you becomes clear as you search for another house to make your home, and you are given peace as you are able to reflect and see His hand on things that you might not have realized were Him at the time.

It is hard to imagine anyone in your family being bored. Last night we were praying that you all would find your next home quickly - that God will guide you to the perfect place for you.

It's frustrating when you choose a house and then God shuts that door, but who knows what plans God has for you? A closed door is an answer, too!

Sorry to hear that your first choice for a new home may not work out. We will be more faithful in praying for you all to find a house and feel settled.

Hang on! The young couple in our church that went short sale are closing very soon. I would still be like you and keep looking, but hope that red tape breaks and you get that house.

I say I'm not attached much to things...but you should see my attic!

Keep looking up! Praying for you.
Keep smiling don't let the old devil get you down. That'll make him smile.

Our short sale didn't come thru until the last minute; like we were putting an offer on another house. I think you should post the other houses that are in consideration and let us blogging friends vote on them! Doesn't that sound like fun!
