I couldn't stand the paint any longer. With the addition of the boys, the walls are REALLY showing some wear and tear. The paint was that junky cheap builder's paint that is more like a primer for REAL paint. So...why not add another project onto this list. So far we have painted the family room (pictured above with the new paint), entry, dining room and guest bathroom. We just went with a soft brown (with a hint of green). It really helps the trim to pop and stand out.And I just want to point out, I finally took down the Christmas wreath. How sad that it had been up for almost 6 months???

I am right there with you. We didn't paint all the walls, but at least one in all of the bedrooms except the boys. Gold in our room, purple in the girls'. We have a really great greyish beigey color for the living room. The boy wants green so we are keeping a look out on the oops rack at Home Depot. Then we do the kitchen and the bathrooms. Then we cover whatever white surface is left. And as for the wreath, we still have garland in our kitchen windows.
Beautiful! You have such beautiful taste.
It looks so nice!
I'm curious what the OTHER of your projects are. The painting looks beautiful, and I know it makes it feel more like YOUR home.
love the color, looks great.
