WAIT!!!!

Chuck drove off this morning unintentionally with my cell phone (ours match) and his cell phone. So I couldn't call him to ask him to come back with it. I grabbed the home phone (don't even ask why we have one, it is useless) to call him and quickly recognized, that we have no long distance on that phone (who needs it when you have it on your cell phone plan?). It is not a local call because we haven't switched our cell numbers since we moved. All this to say, I felt so stranded. So alone. Like I couldn't call anyone if I wanted or needed to. My only hope was that he would understand that he had it when an alarm went off to remind Tissy to take her morning medicine.

About 5 minutes later in walks my knight in shining armor with my trusty cell phone. Oh sweet technology.

I had a similar situation. I remember feeling so stranded. I eventualy went to a neighbor and used their phone. It made me realize that during the day, most of my neigbors are gone.

So it's not just me that refuses to pay for long distance when it's included on the cell phone. Way to be frugal.

That felt like a VERY long 5 minutes, didn't it?? I hate it when hubby drives off with the little one's carseat in his truck! Now, that has a way of stranding us for the entire day!

I am completely lost without my cell phone. It is my security blanket for so many reasons. What a great post idea! At least he brought it home.

We are so used to instant communication and reachability. It's awful when your battery in the cellphone is dead and you can't get to your computer either.

What a nice husband to bring you back your phone. I am so spoiled by technology.

Bless your hearts! I know that was so frightening. (As a mom of 3 boys, we've spent our time in the ER too... I started to fear they would start fingerprinting us) Hehee

I appreciated your kind words and was so happy to "meet" you. I will pray for your sweet baby as she heals.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND,
Love,
Tonya

Okay, so I THINK that I just left a comment for you... if I did I'm pretty sure I left it on the wrong post. O:-) Now, not only have we met, but you also know what an airhead I am.. LOL!
