We are bummed. Big time bummed. A combo of too much rain and wind today + the tree trimming didn't get done yet + already heavy on the right side of the tree = A big bad day for a tree hugger. Oddly enough, the tree service people were coming to our place this afternoon. Yes, there were tears (by not just me). We will now figure out if the rest can be saved and how much this whole thing will cost us. This was a tree drama day for sure.
We did have a good talk with the girls and were able to seek the good in all situations. Only the neighbors fence was damaged. No one was hurt. We hadn't put the playset under the tree. It didn't fall on a house. God is still faithful and still good and still in control.
