May Day

We were able to celebrate May Day with our normal tradition (last years post HERE). We make little baskets and leave them for friends and neighbors. Of course we leave them anonymously and ring the door bell and run away. This year we made cone baskets and hung them on the doorknobs. Just a little some thing that brightens someones day.

What a sweet tradition! It's so fun to do little acts of kindness with your girls. Our May Day is always spent celebrating my hubby's birthday. :)
I love this idea -- so simple and yet so sweet. I'm definitely stealing this idea for next year! (I know that May day baskets is not a novel idea, but I just love the little cones!)
I love this idea and I hope to remember to try it next year. Do any of your neighbors ever figure out it's from your family?
I love this and think I will try it next year! What a kind thing to do.....
Thanks for coming to our house in the pouring rain! I'm going to plant my marigold tomorrow. Love you!
That is such a great tradition, the closest I got to it was telling my kids on May 1st about how my grandmother used to give out may Baskets for May Day when she was young.
Too cute and too fun. Very girly. I totally remember having fun leaving flowers on porches and running away when we were little.
I LOVE those bright yellow marigolds.
Those baskets are so sunshiny! I know your neighbors must have loved them.
You are so good at traditions! I think you'll make new friens in the neighborhood because of this.
I'm sorry I caught you guys! :(
I missed my May Day basket this year. Maybe I can do that with Story next year.
